I Gazed At The Flower Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Gazed At The Flower

I Plucked the Flower

I plucked the flower of origination,
The first that bloomed in my garden.
But I planted it back,
So it would look pretty again.

Why I plucked that flower,
I knew but I shouldn't have done so.
I liked that flower,
In that garden.

Nowadays,
I just gaze at them,
One by one,
And they gaze back at me.
