I Gazed Upon A Bloody Nail - Poem by Monique Morua

I gazed upon a bloody nail
Rushing many memories
Drowning in instant despair
Wishing to be out of this misery

A piercing pain went through my heart
As I remembered every detail
My heart was slowly falling apart
But I could not stop the horrid poison

A poison rushing through my body
Wishing for me to be dead
I slowly started giving in
&gently drifted away...
