I Get It And I Quit - Poem by Ray Mesa

She sticks her chest out
And no one looks
Anything out of her mouth
Is ignored
Every time she wears something new
People call her a whore
They hate her, they hate her
But for some reason
I just keep falling in love with her
It's just that time of season
I fell in love with Amanda tonight
Each dropp of rain, each day's moonlight is
Fading her, Fading her
Fading her into the background
I asked her out with out sound
Just a little love poem which I thought was sure-bound
That poem dropped like a dead bird and I was left without a hound

So here I am
Initials is all I can share
L, M and Now I'm waiting for N
I am waiting for this all to end

Screened by laurel
My emotions have become poisoned Mar, It’s singing La La La
I've Struck Emotional Distress Oil!
If I’m worthless then you’re Bourgeois

Nothing ever leaves the notebook paper
None of the typed words are printed out
I wish I could release them into the wild, Scream out at her
Hear my lonesomeness, hear me shout
Don't say anything yet, just hear me out

Go ahead and tell me an excuse
For loving some douche
But not me
Oh never the nice guy
No person sees
The real skin under mine
I'm sick of it

So here is my final letter
Once it's down I hope to feel better
Just keep reading it
I get it ok, today I quit
I give up on dating for all my years
There is no one out there for me
I'm sick of tearing my heart out for every girl that bashes her eye lashes
I will never blush for the cute girl wearing glasses
I get it and I quit
Use my love poems as tissues
For the tears you will cry
When that issue
Comes Alive
When you find out that your man, your guy
Is really a pig
Farewell my Amanda
Letting me go, Oh how it 'Burns'
Each girl has let me down, turned me around
And pushed me on to another friend
Well here we are, the best is yet
I feel the mar, you can too I bet
Don't forget to sleep
While your mouth is filled with burning cigarettes
Go ahead and forget to breathe
When you feel sick and you’re drowning in your own sweat
Just know that you could have been with me
