I Hate That I Love You Poem by Kyle Rowan Van der Ross

I Hate That I Love You

I hate that I love you
I hate that no matter what I do, I'm always thinking of you
I hate how you break my walls, and cross my lines
I hate how you know my heart and understand my mind
I hate that whenever I'm not looking, you start to stare
I hate how I'm overwhelmed by the way you care
I shouldn't have given you my heart, but that's the thing, you took it away imperceptibly
You made me believe that maybe, just maybe, this is meant to be
I hate how I dream about you endlessly
I hate how you don't even know what you mean to me
You live up to my expectations without fail
You make me believe in fairy tales
Coins in a well, wishes upon a star
None could come close to the angel that you are
I hope You're the one that God chose for me
Coz I love the way my heart races whenever You're close to me
I'm head over heels. Can't even debate it.
You're my better half and dammit I hate it.
I hate that no matter who I meet no one is above you
But most of all, I hate that I love you
