Suddenly its started raining
I must be on the road tonight despite
For I have daughter in school in the city afar
Seated with strangers in the waiting launge
You know, the road, the mud, the potholes
Still no ticket, but just keeping the faith
For I have a daughter in school in the city afar
What if all these people were a congregation
Or the driver an angel
What if all this babel were actual tongues
What would it be like
If the bus detoured into His presence
Well it still is raining outside
Yet I have daughter in school somewhere in the city
Maybe that makes me father who knows
Anyways its time for a roll call
