I Have Lost A Lot Of Patience Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

I Have Lost A Lot Of Patience

Never have I had the option,
To make decisions I later refused.
Or was there a door left open to me,
To walk through to leave behind excuses.

And perhaps that's why I take full responsibility,
If it is found and discovered I offend and intend it...
I've noticed I have lost a lot of patience as I age.
Especially with those still at a childish stage.
