I Have No Need To Find A New Home Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Have No Need To Find A New Home

I have no need to find a new home;
Here in my courtyard, I'll plant flowers
That do not scream, but scatter the fragrance
Of eternal love for all.
A love so strong, an elixir deep,
Quietly guiding me to my own truth,
And the truth of nature, surrounding all.

Roses of love, filling the earth
With their eternal fragrance,
Reviving us flawlessly,
And by their grace, I remain in Your presence.
To feel one with the One is complex—
Yet beautiful, like the rising sun.

I cannot believe I will ever die,
As long as I am tied by the chord of love
To the divine, my true essence.
In the arms of my divine self,
I long to forever be.
My mind flows like a river
Toward the sea of the Divine,
And my heart echoes with divine ecstasy.

I realize I am here, with You—
I need no new home to build.
Yet I long to be grounded
In Your constant zikr,
In this universe, and beyond.

My heart is patient, at peace in prayer,
For it has realized: I am the truth.
Deeply rooted in the divine, I stand,
As the deepest flowers sound Hu, Hu, Hu.
I welcome all to my heart—
I am no longer separate.
The nights of illusion are ruined,
For I let go, divinely,
And in surrender, I find beauty.
No more illusions, no more duality.
