I Hear Them All Poem by Dr Dolston L Morian

I Hear Them All

The cruise of day is gone and night has come
The evening shadows have fallen
And the beautiful noise of nature is rising
To welcome the night,
The noise of the bumblebee with mumble
What intriguing sounds I hear

The cracking sounds of wood on burning fire
The mooing cows and barking dogs
How distinct the noise of the tiny cricket
It pierces my eardrum, O that annoying eek
I hear them all

The noise of a night owl in the dark it flies
The mewing cat, the neighing horse
Their sounds are graciously resounding
It's the news of life and unmerited living
I hear them all.

And hey! Somewhere not very far away
I hear what sounds like a babbling brook
The noise of a toad with its hallow-like croak
Leaping in the grass to the noisy water stream
I hear them all.

The wind in it passing unseen to the eye
Collides with trees and the leaves a whistling noise
The branches sway as if dancing to the melody
And a gently hooting of a peaceful dove
I hear them all.
