I Hear You In My Voice Sometimes Poem by Luce Darwin

I Hear You In My Voice Sometimes

Sitting in a restaurant;
Suddenly, it was you
in my voice.
I tried to yell
but not even that
scared you away,
and I have to write these words,
right now,
or I won't sleep.
I cannot funtion properly
when you're in my mind,
not when you're looking at me
with those eyes
like you are in my memory.
You won't believe
how much I miss you,
right now, and everyday.
