Don'T Look For Me Poem by Luce Darwin

Don'T Look For Me

Live near the ocean
I can taste the salt
In the air around me
Sometimes at night
The moon's reflection
Pulls me in
Makes promises
It cannot keep
What is down there
Where it's too black too see?
It's eternity
Terrifies me
Yet the moon
Still pulls me out deeper
Everytime it seems
Further than before
Next time
I might just stay
Please don't look for me
