Luce Darwin Poems

I got my share of serendipity
that day I found you.

This dalliance
...

Sometimes I think I am psychotic
and possibly I am.
The ground is breathing,
skies are shimmering
...

Leaving me things, here and there
things only you; my loyal mind-reader
Could possibly know I love
And that is how I know
...

I've thought of dying,
Of what dying may be like;
This is not new;
I've come to a conclusion;
...

When you are young
Your life is condensed
Your grandmother is drinking out of a mug
Your mother is on the phone
...

Live near the ocean
I can taste the salt
In the air around me
Sometimes at night
...

I am 60% the ocean,
the terrible and alluring,
the flowing and rising, sinking;
we, together, are pulled by the moon;
...

I listen to the song you do
and think that possibly
it's playing in your brain
at the same time.
...

I could draw the trees
by your house I know them
and love them so well.
...

I am smoldering
In some invisible fire
I am scratching at my clothes
Trying to tear through my chest
...

I'm looking for something
to destroy myself with,
only before I can
I'm waiting for my favorite constellation
...

There is a place
Somewhere
A place no one can go
It was built by me
...

I am being torn asunder

I must be quarantined
before I become a plague
...

In the forests
You will find me
gathering herbs
for your healing.
...

My mind is spend
in caring.

The moon's mosaic
...

The sky, clouds, and leaves,
offbeat and too variant in their coloring
yet happen to be pleasing
in some odd and miscellaneous way.
...

Sitting in a restaurant;
Suddenly, it was you
in my voice.
I tried to yell
...

Last night
I thought I felt you kiss my forehead
I thought
It's all in my head
...

19.

I live in the pines
Sometimes
Their scent
Making me reminisce
...

By the ocean
Lies blankets of snow
In the distance
A lighthouse
...

The Best Poem Of Luce Darwin

S.A.D.

I got my share of serendipity
that day I found you.

This dalliance
has been close to glorious,
but our song is ending
and the leaves are growing weary,
slouching at their sides,
they know what's coming
as do I
but please don't fret,
I fell in love
and that cannot be erased.

I'll be back darling.
Wait for me.

I see a talent here, although I didn't read one poem that I felt was really finished. I hope you are reading poetry- maybe some publications like American Poetry Review and Poetry. Keep writing...I'm sincere about believing in your talent.
