Some days I remember
Some days I forget
So many things come and go
I can’t remember them all but yet

Many times the past comes back to me
In the middle of a day
I’ll recall so many things
That people had to say

Most of it was negative
From people who had failed
They lived a simple life
But they kept their dreams all jailed

They never took a chance
They didn’t follow their dreams
As they look back on their lives
All they want to do scream
