I Hurt 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I'm hurting here just longing for you,
I want to have you here in my arms so
can just tell you I miss you and love
you so deeply and need you too.
I long for you sweet darling and need you here.
Can you feel all the love and warmth I'm sending you?
Can you feel my deep need to have you in my arms
and to spend eternity with you?
I truly so deeply need you here and it's
so painful being apart and it grows worse every day.
Time doesn't heal as they say,
I knew it never would because I gave you my heart
and you're my Angel through this life and the next every day.
I hurt for you darling and pray for the miracle
I'll open the door and you will be there.
I used to never cry not even in physical pain,
now I cry often from the aching hole in my soul
that desperately needs you there.
I cry because I feel your aching longing pain from so far,
please come and let me take you in my arms.
I love you so deeply with my heart, mind, and soul.
I need you for eternity my only one.
