I Know Her, As By... Poem by james watkin

I Know Her, As By...

I know her, as by kissing made known.
From her mouth the meanings slip mute.
As much we'd commune, confirming with eyes
But side-long,love's directness.
But shyly, defies!

Fully one communicates the sea
In a dive; being absorbed in it.
Shore-viewing its aspect's reflective glints
Of the passions, underneath
Spume frivolous hints!
