You loved me completely
I wish I had done the same
But a heart that is untrue
Is only playing a game

There was a time I loved you
But that was long ago
I wish I knew then what I know now
I would have never let my feelings show

So as I get ready to walk away
To set out on my own
The one thing I regret the most
Was letting my feelings be known

I take all the blame
Because I know I was wrong
I gave in to temptation
When I know I should have been strong
