I'Ll Sing - Poem by Edgar James Momoh

Shhh...Don't shush me. I'll sing
I have a song in my heart that longs to be sung
A song composed by my soul, arranged by my mind
To be sung with my mouth
It's a song of praise, a song of gratitude to my maker
Please let me sing, I can't keep silent

Hssh... Don't hush me. I'll sing louder
I have an orchestra within me
That is presenting a masterpiece of my soul
Every cord and string that was broken is vibrating once more
With a song of jubilation for what he has done for me
Please let me sing, cos you can't shush or hush me
I'll sing
