I’ll Take My Fat To The Grave! Poem by Marilyn Lott

I’ll Take My Fat To The Grave!

Rating: 5.0

I was driving to town this morning
It was cold for it is late fall
And as I drove I notice a lady jogging
She wasn’t short nor was she tall

She was wearing black spandex pants
A jacket with a cap on her head
Jogging along, breath clouds in the air
Her poor face was a brilliant beet red

When I got home from my shopping trip
I made hot chocolate for myself
I thought about this woman’s diet and wondered
Does she keep all good food on a shelf?

Or does she eat snacks once in awhile
Perhaps that just be too brave
I have rolls around my middle AND
I’ll take my fat rolls to the grave!
