I Love You Poem by Tushar Ray

I Love You

Rating: 4.5

I love you as a child of God
Like I love my own soul
No anticipation is there my dear
Only my desire to love you more
Spontaneously from my heart
The same way I love bubbly roses
Only for their own glory
I love for their unspoiled beauty
Beauty for beauty's sake
And nothing else

I know on your way to blossoms
There are many hurdles
The social, karmic and many more
You must cross them fervently
No easy shortcut is there, my dear
Go with keen mind and open heart
Creating a glow in concert
Cutting through layers of ignorance
Thus clearing your way
Must learn to steer the turbulent water
Like an expert navigator
Lest will cost undue energy and delay

Please remember to look by wayside
To find me waiting patiently
For resonating by your pleasure and pain
And taking pride in your overall gain
So, please avoid your irrational ego
The self-defeating arrogance
Banish and look by wayside on the way
And see me with my best garland
Carefully crafted from my life's jewels
Ready to greet you, my darling
Because I love you as myself
