I'm A Nervous Wreck Poem by Alyssa Diane Jenkins

I'm A Nervous Wreck

Rating: 5.0

I'm a nervous wreck.

I'm a nervous wreck that is in love with a guy that probably doesn't want me. I'm a nervous wreck that lets him in anytime he wants sex, and by the time I open my eyes in the morning he's absent. I'm a nervous wreck that kisses him like we are together, before he leaves, before we sleep.. feeling the electricity of love and honesty through my veins when all he feels is lust and has the thought "I'm going to get laid" going through his head like a Jumbotron. I'm a nervous wreck that suggested he move in with me, even though he said last night "just because I move in that doesn't mean we're going to get back together." Crushing me. Ruining my once ravishing appetite. I'm a truly ashamed nervous wreck. Blinded by love for an individual that doesn't love me. Blinded by a million of lies and memories of what we once were.
