I'M Sorry, Emily Poem by Victoria Revier

I'M Sorry, Emily

Oh dearest Emily,
How could my faint words ever express
The way I feel about you
Judging you was the easiest thing I ever did
So why does it now seem so hard
To put into words,
For you
For you and all your majesty,
How I feel
My heart is skipping
My breath is failing me in this instant
You and I,
We share a kinship you shall never know
Oh how I wish you were here
I would tell you these words
And I would ask you, was it worth it?
Regrets?
You see, Emily,
You have inspired me
Was it the right thing to do?
My hero.
