Swallowed by the dark i hide
All the heartbreak held inside
Trying to ignore the lies
And the tears stinging my eyes
Right now i would rather die
Than ever let you see me cry
Afraid to look up at your face
Dying to be in your embrace
Suddenly aware of the tears I let leak
I didn't have a chance to speak
For you are holding me so close
The ground is barely touching my toes
You wipe away my every tear
And then whisper into my ear
'I'm sorry, love'
