I Met No One Like You...
I met no one, so perfect like you,
I met no one, whose heart is guiltless like you,
And hold no thought of vanity,
And given hopes don’t delude.
I met no one, so clear- headed like you,
I met no one, whose eyes are pleasant,
And a tender heart to be jovial,
And who enchant with all his elegance.
Your quiet mind is richer than a crown,
Your sweet thoughts that savor the content.
Are all the admiring qualities, I behold,
Our liaison took an inward shape,
When you cared for me like the shadow of the sun.
I embraced all progress with you,
As your propinquity stroke me with ecstasy,
It soothes me to hold myself lucky,
To feel mirth and bliss to find a sweet consort like you.
