I Miss You Dearly Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Miss You Dearly

You know who you are
With myself, I am at war
I am not at peace
I miss you dearly
I see you in my dream
With no string, and without truce
I see you my baby
You are the high beam
Of my dark nights
You are the cream
You're the beacon, and the lights.

I miss you dearly
You see me in the morning
In the depth of your mirror, sweetie
And I see you when I am meditating
When I shut my eyes
Where countless butterflies
Under heavy skies
Come to bring me good wishes
And to blow sweet kisses
I miss you dearly
I want to touch you again, my baby.
