I Must Love You Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Must Love You

I must love you
In order to kiss you
Honey
It's cloudy
Raise your head, look up
At the very top
Of the tree
To see
How two pigeons
Are behaving
Like two lions
Which are eating
One another
Oh! They're hugging
And teasing
Each other
You're a great lover
And a survivor
That's another reason
Why all season
I want to kiss you
I want to love you.

Look down
Do not frown
Now, honey
It's sunny
There are two seagulls
Strolling next to the polls
They're watching
And laughing
At you and I kissing
Each other
With grandeur
Remember
You must love me dearly
In order to kiss me freely.
