I Must Take You Poem by janice jolan

I Must Take You

I confide!
With full heart i gave you...
Your truthful looking eyes seems so true,
Your bright masking is as sky blue.
The whole world knows...
You! are precious gold.

I don't expect you to reflect,
You are a biting snake.
With fangs pinning on my cheeks.

My will to please you does not suffice,
You're like my shadow in the dim light.
I am a flaming fire,
You are my bleak ice
You torn my heart twice,
Bleeding and tongue-tied.

To see my glowing face,
Radiant like a sun rays
Setting East to West,
Tracking on my quests.

Do not bend your knees..nor say sorry please!
Like a flower daffodil,
I'll wait for u to wake.
That's what I seek...
You are dear to me,
I can always forgive.

It is the presence of love that gives you the ability to understand your nears and dears. You harbor no ill will even if you find something is amiss in their interactions. I love the poem. You are dear to me, I can always forgive.
