I Named You Cain Poem by Ibtissam Ibrahim

I Named You Cain

Rating: 5.0

I named you Cain
The sky for your eyes...is smiling
the birds just for you.. are singing
While me
I have grieve and silence
And the waiting for the rain
***
Your songs flow in my heart
And on the memory's platform... fires
break out in my head
I named you Cain
And left Abel homeless
at the door of my misery
***
I think you mess with my thoughts
Your pigmental hand with my pains
chased my smoky thread
and you are smiling on the Map of my dreams!
I named you Cain
Then my pure was assassinated
a pride boasted on my face
so it shattered
tut for a memory.. empty but full with your name
it stops, , If I pass
I named you Cain, when
the storm's pace has slowed
My features which I lost in you
I still remember some of them
I still remember my face reflected
on the mirrors
I still remember my eyelids
At any disabled corner are hiding
I named you Cain..
so Abel has died in my language
And my egos widowed
***
I addicted your face.. Your perfume
Lockers of longing inside me
Addicted sky which to your eyes smiles
I addicted a chess patch in my anger
But I forgot my face reflected in mirrors
I named you Cain until
the murder doesn't die into me
So the murder doesn't die into me.
