I've Just Known Poem by Ibtissam Ibrahim

I've Just Known

I've just known …
for the sun set in my lips
A thousand wishes fade away
And for yesterdaypresent
in my language
Million letters die
And The ceiling in my isolation
likens Sona's terrain *
I've just known
God becomes more compassionate
When I cry
When I gloom
And The child awakes in my tears
I've just known...
Death does not be an autumn
Across challenges' shades
I will write...
By wretched tear
all the facts
Every longing fill me out
Every flood of my glory
Every sadness smile
Appears in my entity
I will write
God has unseen affairs
I just realize them
When I fall asleep...
when I wake up
When I wave my fan
In the face of the hangman!
* Sona: A prison in Panama for the perpetrators
of the most heinous crimes
