I Passed This Way Poem by Barry Middleton

I Passed This Way

Rating: 5.0

I passed this way
I could not stay
but I'll be back
again some day

earth is a place
that I shall miss
yes I'll be back
to steal a kiss

I may come back
as bird or fish
and if you miss me
(that is my wish)

but when you gaze
upon the sea
it just might be
you don't see me

but look again
up to the sky
for I may be
just flying by
