I Praise The Name

I praise the name of Jesus Christ
The lover of my soul
Perfect God and perfect man
A Completeness that I know
In Him I move and have my being
I know in whom I have believed
And there's a witness living inside
The Spirit that I have received

Now a consistent life of faith
A learning that's brought by prayer
I have an enjoyable fellowship now
For He's with me everywhere
And interceeding on my behalf
To the heavenly Father above
I'm encased by my Savioureach day
And encompassed by His love

O that precious name of Jesus
My foundation built on this
He is my Cornerstone of faith
This gives to me such bliss
My Resurrection and my life
O death where is thy sting
What a faith we have in Him
What greater cause to sing

So again I praise You Lord
Another day to live
And enjoy the benefit of Your presence
And know the love You give
May I seek to give away
The gift I have received
And share with others about eternal life
If they would only repent and believe!
