I receive a I love you
ending with a
SWANK
and life is greater and better,
than it was
a moment ago.

I love you too
and the feeling
is more intense,
than anything
I have know to now
and that is how
I want it to stay
is what I say back
by SMS
to the one that’s near
and very dear to me.

Outside I hear children playing,
the noise of dogs barking
at the passing postman
and some cars driving by
and life is really great
although I am ill in bed
and I just cannot wait
for the evening to come
and to have her
back from work.
