I Refuse To Be Sympathetic Poem by Qiniso Mogale

I Refuse To Be Sympathetic

When people are proud and arrogant
When people are haughty and uncouth
When people are self centered and self important
When such people think they don't need God
When such people think they are better than God
Eventually they are humbled by God
Eventually they are shamed by God
They then go around gathering sympathy
I refuse to be sympathetic to such people

Such people have a know it all attitude
Such people refuse sound advice
Such people neglect the voice of reason
They are deceived by the devil
They willingly sell their souls to the devil
Such people believe God can be mocked
Such people believe they are wiser than God
Eventually they are crushed by God
The once high and mighty then want to be pitied
I refuse to be sympathetic to such people.
