I Regret The Moment We Met Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

I Regret The Moment We Met

Your voice was a whisper in the dark,
a promise wrapped in quiet lies.

I held your name like a secret,
not knowing it would stain my lips.

Time unraveled every illusion,
leaving only echoes and empty hands.

If I could walk backward,
I would never turn to see your face.
