i remember the days,
when there was flooding rains,
where we used to splash around.
i remember the days,
before the great drought,
before the water restrictions,
before the real hot sun.
i remember the days,
where we used to dance and sing,
to any tune on the radio,
without being told to be quiet.
i remember the days,
before the 21st century began,
when all the trouble started.
i remember the days,
of the september 11 and the bali bombings.
the tragic tales of death and distruction.
i remember the days,
oh,
i remember the days.
