I Ride In The Wave Poem by Adams King

I Ride In The Wave

I ride in the wave
and I paddle in the storm
I stand so brave
Prepared for what is to come
I make cold the volcanoes
and I shake every hurricanes
I stand with a strong soul
and i mock my greatest pains

Hurdles may arise
but this man will not stumble
The moon may cease to shine
Yet at night my stars will twinkle
I will laugh out my salty tears
and consume the cowardice in me
In the eyes of danger I will stare
To create a safer place for me
