Whenever I say that I love you
Remember this, those feelings are true
I spoke how I feel
And I spoke what was real.
I don't say it for an special effect
And I don't say it out of respect
I say it because it's the truth
Ever since our youth.
I didn't speak those words to borrow some money
And I didn't say it to get some honey
I never said those words as an apology
Or spoke them because of your biology.
Whenever I think of us
In a prayer I always thank the lord Jesus
I didn't say them, so to end a fight
I said them because those words felt right.
