I Saw The Dawn Combing Her Hair Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Saw The Dawn Combing Her Hair

I saw the Dawn combing her hair
She had just emerged from her eastern lair.

Sweet the birds sang; the waters plied
The bays and coves with diverse colors dyed.

Sweet verse must always please; it rings
And then emotions in the heart it brings.
