When I saw you today
I couldn't breathe
I tried to speak
But no words flowed free

My heart skipped a beat
I tried to stay calm
Not wanting to move
My mind just screamed

I saw you today
Wishing you weren't there
I tried to turn and run
But my body would not respond

As you walked by
I wondered had you ever
Felt the same as I
As you rushed on by

I felt pure madness
How could you not see
All the damage you had done
Left me weak and alone
