I See You In The Mirror Poem by Hebert Logerie

I See You In The Mirror

I hear your voice
But you are not there
I see you in the mirror
Located near the wardrobe
It's hard to believe
In the street, on the sidewalk
I hear footsteps
I thought it was you.

You are sneaky
For months
I feel that you are alive
Yes, you are present
Next to me, close to me
I hear your footsteps
I hear your voice
Believe me, believe me
All over the room
My limbs tremble like a drum
I see you in the mirror
It's hard to believe
I see your image
Pretty and sexy on the beach
You are always present
My beautiful, my lovely
I hear your footsteps
And I see you
When I shut my eyes
You are the daughter of God
You are more beautiful than ever
You live in a world of peace
I see you in the mirror
When it's very dark
I see you, I see you
I hear the echo of your voice
I hear your footsteps
Yes, you are here.
