I Seek Road Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Seek Road

Rating: 5.0

I seek road to salvation
An end to worldly relation
Free from known yokes
Yes dear, this is not joke

I was thinking over years
Many good things were falling in ears
They were beating my ear drums
It used to create melody with rhythms

I was feeling shy
The soul was constantly asking why?
I wondered if duality in life could pay
Later on when life was to end in pathetic way

Yes, that was big question
It had some indication
Human being must think twice
Before having any good choice

Yes it was casual and routine
I went for breakfast, lunch and dined
Labored hard for family and children
I was expecting no change even

Some thoughts crept in
It was agony with pain
What was I expected to perform on this earth?
Before taken over or knocked down by death

Yes it was worth to spare some time
Whole of the life we were coming crimes
Not in action but in thoughts
Some addressable act was ought to be done
