I Shall Never Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I shall never leave you
This is very much true
I whisper and reiterate
It has much to relate

I do not what made me to utter!
I opened all gates and shutter
Allowed fresh air to rush in and touch
The magic spell was as such

I do not know about others
But the way you tried to shoulder
All responsibilities and shared
It gave me enough of space to dare

I feel quick cold
When your absence is felt or told
It seems unbearable pain
I will not love to maintain

I am in the middle
Want no more trouble
Life is fully stabilized
It is nice and organized

My body never reacts
When you come and act
It gives some kind of pleasure
As if unknown and priceless treasure

What more will I will expect?
Except presence and kind acts
That shall fulfill my life’s wish
Let then life be peacefully finished
