I Shall Object Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Shall Object

Rating: 5.0

Royal Britain, Greece and Athens
Some more names may emerge even
In the field of art and music
That had enlarged as real basic

Egypt and all Arab countries
Stood for unique cultural varieties
They preserved near and dear one
That was unique and till the day shared by everyone

It is our duty to preserve heritage
That may extinct with passing of an age
Many may perish for the want of maintenance
Others may simply stand as sign by chance

Art and music had remained source of inspiration
For several years as solid bond of harmony with relation
It was never a bone of contention
It was principal cause for retention

Today America has discontinued music classes
In schools from or the visible audience of masses
Greece is on the way to follow suit
The fund is cause for them to feel fit

It may save few hundred thousands
But bar the students from knowing clay and sand
That the country has firm roots in heritage
That has to be preserved on the golden page

I shall object tooth and nail
Let any government come on power and fail
We are people and must reign supreme
The power of strength flows as sun beam
