I Shaped Your World, You Shared My Life

Rating: 5.0

I shaped your world
within my palm of ash,
trailing smoke in circled whispers,
a shadow on the cracked
deep purple walls.

You shared my life,
a bittersweet song—
the melody of empty bottles,
the refrain of dim-lit rooms
where the walls held
our unspoken broken truths.

Each day fades softly
into the next,
the coffee grown cold,
the toast left to burn,
the sun rising pale
as a forgotten promise will.

We wove our dreams
into fragile threads,
spoke of beauty,
of words unwritten,
of visions we both shared.

You sought meaning,
I craved quiet,
but we called it love
and walked hand in hand.

Today, like yesterday,
and the endless tomorrow,
the world we shaped
trembles beneath its sorrow.

Broken,
and yet
we journey on.
