I Shed My Tears Poem by Adams King

I Shed My Tears

Rating: 5.0

Today this tears must I shed
If no one weep for you, I will weep
Your tragic pictures flashes on my head
Heart hurt like cuts from daggers deep

I saw you burn in an earthly hell
And pray heaven console your soul
Wonder why the tanker fell
To birth such disastrous inferno

I heard your helpless screams
Your last wishes and whispers low
How for life you plead
But death was already at your toes

How your flesh became fire woods
To burn like a dried and dead leaf
There at Ibadan express way i stood
To shed my tears in grief
