I Sit In The Old Age Smuts Street Jerusalem Park

Rating: 5.0

I sit in the old age Smuts street Jerusalem park
And dream of the green I see
Spring is here
In all its Beauty
How young the fresh breeze feels
I am quiet and at peace

A human lifetime is so cosmically brief
And yet mine has been long for me
And I do not have the strength
To do justice to the memories in me

All is green and all is beautiful
It is calm and at peace
And Time quietly goes by this morning
As if I will always be here

A human lifetime is so cosmically brief And yet mine has been long for me And I do not have the strength To do justice to the memories in me Wonderful sentiments, I'm heading towards that road at a quicker pace so I understand it more every day.

So comforting- a life packed with memories and joys of being in the company of nature. Thanks. MyPoemList.
