I sometimes feel as if everything is alright
And being alive is no great problem
But a simple easy joyful thing
I sometimes feel as if I have lived
A good life long
And done something with it
And that it's alright
And not a big problem
That my greatest ambitions were not realized-

I sometimes feel
It is just alright and good to be here
And that is good enough to not be in pain
And enjoy the simple basic things of life
Without problem
I sometimes feel
That underneath it all
There is great happiness and joy in me
And that what I learned so long ago from my mother
This pleasure in simple things
Is a great gift of God
I should be thankful for
All the time.
