I think of ecstasy...
...how I get it each day...
...out of the silence...
...in the house of Allah;
It is not my cup though...
...but my God gives me to drink...
...free of cost, and without asking.
But is ecstasy itself...
...all of a sudden event...
...like the weeds that have got...
...the spontaneous growth?
No one has seen how it happens;
But inside the lover's heart...
...some strange and inexplicable...
...miracle happens.
The plant of ecstasy growing
...in the vast land of heart has roots...
...that go deeper in the self;
The plant is grown by the invisible...
...planter inwardly in a lover's heart;
Its flowers shine, its leaves glitter, and...
...its fruit are sweet and delicious.
Ecstasy is born out of the peace of heart;
And strikes its roots deep down in the...
...lover's heart alone...
...while breeze of love blows softly and...
...continually;
Then the divine knowledge and wisdom...
....fruits grow quietly into the garden of heart;
These are the dear favourite fruit of paradise;
And here the word of faith can best be heard;
The tree of ecstasy is evergreen and musical.
What is ecstasy but visions of One-reality...
...the timeless one, not bound by space;
He who does not sit idle in some remote place;
No one has ever seen him in bodily frame!
No one is his incarnate!
For He need not to take a human form to show...
...His might and power.
He is the essence of every human, because...
...no one lives except by His command;
There are people but who live in inwardness...
...and are blessed with divine ecstasy;
They love to look out of windows, and see...
...the beautiful manifestation.
