I Try Not, I Don'T Want - Poem by kayla fountain

lock all open doors
dress in the dark
hide from from all truth
all of the times i've asked for the truth
now i don't won't to know not anything that puts me in the dark
i can't scream
i can't remove the way i think of you
i can't remember the last time
you said you loved me
just talk slow and calm
don't hurt my heart
you've made my heart quite soft
i tried to hide from you
but i somehow find myself in front of you
i try not to call for you
