Je pid parai jaanere
Par dukhe ulkar kare toye

I turn 73
Friday,17th May 2019
I turn seventy-three today
is it a good day?
people shall start sending me wishes
along with a bouquet of roses
a person looks behind
and tries to find
how did he spend his past?
and evaluate first
there is no crying over split milk
but ink it in a positive manner
with no much fanfare
and stare at the sky
sometimes I think about birthday
and consider it in a special way
was this the day when God brought me on this holy earth?
was it only to take a deep breath and do nothing till the death?
life has meaning and purpose
if you have chosen
the path of some goo deliverance
then life must be taken a chance
who knows when shall we have human birth?
where will we have rebirth?
this is not to be worried
but the obligation has to be carried
