I'Ve Been Away

I’ve been away,
But now I’m home,
Took to the hills,
No cars, no phone,
I climbed a mountain,
Reached the sea,
Quiet contentment,
Followed me,
Sole companion,
My best friend,
She must have known,
I’d reached the end,
She called me up,
To rescue me,
She let me sleep,
She let me be.
