I’ve Got An Emotional Trauma: Poem by Liza Sud

I’ve Got An Emotional Trauma:

Rating: 5.0

I’ve got an emotional trauma:
Forgot to lock up the cabinets.
Forgive me please, I implore you.
By grace you will sooth this wound.

otherwise the soul will blow up,
Will drown you in tearful stream.
Locks never can solve this problem.
God always will find a thief.

The last line is one of my favorites. The underlying meaning is that God will never abandon us, a truth the saints are always affirming. If I'm reading your poem correctly - because of emotional trauma, the speaker is trying to live apart from the world, in total isolation. But good people try to ease her back to society and and God is their ally in his rescue of a lost soul.
